PEOPLE STEPS - 2017

"People steps" or following the people walking through. Each step, each attitude in the way people walk, the speed of movement is like an unique song, and an unique print of who they are. All those small details will give clue to feel the spirit of those people. All those details emphasizes individuality.

For this project, I collaborate with the Taiwanese artist Sherry Chang, author of text attached to each pictures.

一步接著一步

一個片刻接著一個片刻

這是個遊戲

而他

沒有要去哪裡

He did not have to go anywhere

Step by step

A moment followed by a moment

He is playing a game

And he doesn’t have to go anywhere

「我滿不在意的前行   右手是河流   左手是森林  

每個0.01秒都只能擇其一   我不知道轉個彎會不會有更好的風景   我不知道我將獲得什麼

能肯定的是這是一條失去的路   走得越遠   錯過越多   以這種邏輯看來   我終將失去我自己 」

"I keep walking straight. In my right side is the river, in my left side is the forest. Every centi-seconds, I can choose one sole direction. I do not know if it will guide me to a better landscape. I do not know what I will get there. Surely it was a path of lose. The further I go, the more I get lost. By thinking this way, I’m going to lose myself anyway."

「 我已經準備好了行囊——躲在進退維谷的隙縫裡，我一邊害怕這種虛假的安全感會消失，又一面期待一道浪來把我捲到憤怒的海浪裡。——可是沒準備好往前走去 」

 "I’m ready with my luggage – trapped in the dilemma : in one hand, I fear that this illusion of security would go. On the other hand, I look forward to a wave rolling me into the anger ocean – but I’m not ready to move forward."

我跟隨你走在俗氣的小巷變成奇幻旅行。我愛你，

“Art". I see you,

I see your shadow which is brilliant light. I follow you,

I follow you in the gaudy alley, this path turns into a fantasy journey. I love you,
